Welcome to INGREDIENTES FUNCIONALES DE MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V., o “IFM” con domicilio en Nicolás San Juan # 1255, Col. Del Valle, C.P. 03100, Alc. Benito Juárez, Ciudad de México, México. IFM takes its responsibility for the protection and the processing of your personal data and information. For the purpose of this privacy warning the controller of personal data is INGREDIENTES FUNCIONALES DE MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V.
We inform you that we perform our services based on data held by or made available to IFM. We may use your information for the following purposes:
a) Provide you with the services you requested;
b) inform you about changes in, new products or services, related to the food industry we serve;
c) Inform you about promotions and supply of ingredients.
d) Comply in a timely manner to the products and services you requested and contracted us for.
e) Evaluate the quality of the products and services we provide; and
f) Conduct internal studies and statistics upon consumption habits and behaviors.
To comply with the above mentioned, we require from you the following personal data:
a) Name and address of your company.
b) Name of the business contact;
c) Mexican - Registro Federal de Contribuyentes;
d) Email address to send you the digital fiscal notes and bills; and
e) Other references like delivery addresses, additional contacts with telephone, amongst
other data that might be required by Mexican or international authorities.
Such data may be collected in the following ways:
a) Directly requested to you by our sales representatives,
b) Via applications requested by our administrative staff
c) Via Applications in our web site (www.ifmex.com);
d) Via applications while you take part in our training courses, workshops, conference, commercial expositions, industry fairs or any other activity associated with IFM.
The consent is expressed when your will is manifested verbally, written or via electronic means, optical o by any other technology or by unmistakable signs. It is understood and assumed that you consent the use and processing of your data when the privacy notice has been made available to you, and you do not manifest your dissent as established by the Mexican ---law in the article 8th.
Regarding to “Confidentiality agreements”: the information and data covered by the agreement requires your specific consent- The purpose of this type of agreements.
Your personal data are not going to be transferred neither locally (México) or abroad.
If you do not want to receive marketing messages from our company you may declare it via email.
In terms of what is established by the Mexican -Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares- in its 22th article, the rights holder or the legal representative may exert the right of Access, correction, cancellation and objection
provided in the 4th chapter of the referred and applicable law

You or your duly legal representative, may limit the use and disclosure of your personal data; also you may exert -when you deem it as necessary -your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection as provided by the law, by submitting a request to the address of Ingredientes Funcionales de Mexico. It is important to mention that exerting any of your ARCO rights, is not a requisite neither precludes your exercise of any other right.
We also inform you that you have the right to initiate a “Procedimiento de proteccion de datos” (Data Protection Proceeding) before the Instituto Federal de Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos (www.ifai.gob.mx) within a period of 15 days from receiving a formal answer from IFM Ingredientes Funcionales de México or starting the period of 20 days from the date of reception of your letter soliciting the exercise of your rights.
Modifications to the Privacy Note (Aviso de Privacidad).
Any modification to the privacy note Will be notified to you by any of the following means:
a) Directly through our comercial representatives,
b) Email – through our comercial or administrative representatives,
c) Posted in our web site.
